Twin Blades: A Checklist of Jealousy

Violent nuns, pink-haired zombies? sign us up!

Xbox 360 users may have had a tinge of jealousy wash over them when Twin Blades was released for the iPhone last December. If that jealousy escaped you, well, that’s why we’re here.

Let’s make a checklist:

  • Manga-inspired art style? Check.
  • Balding zombies with pink hair? Check!
  • Flame throwers? Check.
  • If Plants vs. Zombies wasn’t a tower defense game, but rather a highly stylized action brawler with gore and personality to spare? Um, check!
  • Violent nun? Check!

Yep, French studio Press Start have released Twin Blades to the Xbox Live Indie Games arena, for 240MS points. We’ve got the full game downloading right now, so stick around for our upcoming review.

OR, subscribe to our RSS feed and we’ll deliver the details.

(Here’s a more official check list:)

  • 6 range weapons ranging from machinegun to explosive nukes
  • Upgradable skills which can be bought and trained
  • 7 different kind of zombies, mind the grabbers!
  • 5 cool musics and exclusive sound effects which will immerse you into the epic slaughter
  • A local Challenges & High-Scores system which keeps track of players’ progress
